What is the difference between Botox treatment and dermal fillers?

There are many people around us who think of Botox treatment in London and dermal fillers as one and the same thing. However, these two are actually two absolutely different things.
Key difference
Botox
Botox is injected into the muscles to freeze its muscles. Our changing facial expressions cause and spread creases and wrinkles from spreading. These wrinkles are typically found in upper faces, such as forehead and eyes.
Dermal Fillers
The substances are similar to hyaluronic acid or anything similar that acts as the ‘fill-in’ to plump different areas of the face or skin. It offers volume and smoothness to your skin. Whether you have wrinkles around your mouth, chin, lips or eyes or they have lost their fullness, dermal fillers can take the charge. Also, dermal fillers can be tried upon forehead wrinkles, scars and other areas that need extra volume and smoothness.
The most popular form of dermal fillers is Lip augmentation in London. The injectables add volume and plump to your lips.
These dermal fillers last for 3-4 months. However, the results vary from person to person and depend upon the quality of filler as well.
Both are absolutely different and are used for entirely different purposes. However, sometimes they both can be combined in one treatment for more accurate results.
For instance, you may take Botox to get rid of fine lines around your eyes and fillers to improve your smile.
What can Botox Correct?
Most of all, Botox work on wrinkles that are caused by muscle movement. These wrinkles are known as expression lines or dynamic wrinkles. Horizontal lines on the forehead, crow’s feet around the eyes and the 11 between the brows are the best examples of this. These wrinkles are caused by frowning, smiling, squinting or other common facial expressions.
However, Botox is of no use for static wrinkles. Wrinkles and fine lines caused by sagging or by the loss of plumpness on your face cannot be caused by the compound. The wrinkles on your neck, cheek and jowl areas are static ones.
Next, Botox is not a permanent one. Repeated treatments continue reducing the wrinkles. Usually, Botox lasts for 3-4 months.
What can dermal fillers correct?
There are different types of diapers in the market. Different forms are designed to treat varying signs of ageing. They can treat different parts of your face, depending on their type. They can:
·        Plump up your thinning lips.
·        Enhance or fill in shallow areas on your face.
·        Decrease or remove the shadow or wrinkle under the eyes caused by the lower eyelid.
·        Fill in or soften the look of recessed scars
·        Fill in or soften static wrinkles, especially on the lower face.
Static wrinkles are caused by the loss of collagen and elasticity in the skin.
Takeaways
Although, both the treatments are minimum invasive, still they carry some risks. An individual should be aware of all the benefits, risks and advantages associated with this treatment. Enhance your youthful look and enjoy your good looks.
